About

Emily Hill, Self-Publishing Coach and owner of A.V. Harrison Publishing would love an opportunity to help you with your Self-Publishing questions and – for Traditionally Published authors – your Marketing needs. And, it can ALL be done on-line! I trade drafts and upload-ready manuscripts back and forth on-line with many of my clients. There is no need to leave home to get my assistance. No need to live in the Pacific Northwest, where I make my home, to get my help.

At info at avharrison-publishing.com. I’m just a quick eMail, or phone call, away!

The rituals and traditions of getting a book published have been changing at warp speed as agents, publishers, and book sellers attempt to keep up with the move of publishing to the digital platform. I have published nearly twenty titles to Amazon’s Kindle and CreateSpace; Barnes & Noble’s Nook; and Smashwords. I am a registered micro-publisher with Ingram Distributors. I know the publishing business and the technology trends of today.

Many excellent writers have been caught in the squeeze of trying to present good, clean, and professionally edited material to agents and publishers at the same time doors to publishing opportunities are slamming shut because of economic pressures. If you are getting no response, or negative response to your query letters, read my ‘Self-Publishing for Smart Cookies: 2012 Guide’ to learn that there are economic pressures that have to do with how many emerging authors are going to be published this year.

Being un-published does not have to be your fate as a writer! And Please! Do not lay out thousands of dollars to ‘contract-publishers’ who call themselves ‘self publishers’! You now have a golden opportunity to find your way from the frustration of huge cash outlays and unanswered query letters and into independent publishing. I teach writers the elements of self-publishing – one step at a time.

It’s an exhilarating accomplishment that I would like to share with you! And, you’ll be in very good company with many other writers who broke the traditional publishing mold and went on to financial and literary success in print-on-demand and ePublishing.

If you need a publishing coach – someone to tutor you through your own independent publishing project – I’m here to help. It’s actually easy, once you get the hang of it!
